Choco-chip cookies


It's been a while, I have not baked in a week and I am already having chocolate cravings, what could be better than a classic chocolate chip cookie with a glass of cold milk. Yes, back to basics

  • 1/2 cup- butter at room temperature

  • 1 cup - granulated sugar

  • 1- egg

  • 1 tsp- vanilla extract

  • 1 1/4 cup- all purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tbsp - cornflour

  • 1/2 tbsp salt

  • 1 cup - choco chips

  1. Whisk butter and sugar together until it becomes fluffy, add vanilla extract and egg to it.

  2. Take another bowl, add all dry ingredients- cornflour, salt and flour. Mix ingredients with the butter sugar mixtwithure a spatula and sprinkle some choco chips.

  3. Your cookie dough is ready, refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes before baking.

  4. Preheat the oven at 352 F for 10 minutes.

  5. Prepare the baking dish by laying a parchment paper and placing the cookies with a help of an ice cream scoop.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

  7. Once they're baked, let the cookies cool for 10 minutes before you eat them.

You can have these cookies with milk or just glaze some Nutella if you want them to be extra chocolaty! ;)
