Spirulina panna cotta with cherry compote

This spirulina panna cotta is so healthy and easy to make, a perfect no-bake dessert when your are running out of time. I used sprulina powder from Algabrew and I am very impressed with their products, you should definitely check their products out on www.algabrew.com NOW!

  • 1 tsp- Algabrew spirulina powder

  • 1 cup- milk

  • 1/2 cup- fresh cream

  • 2 tbsp- agar agar powder

  • 2 tbsp- water

  • 1/2 cup- fresh cut cherries

  • 1/2 cup- castor sugar (for the compote)

  • 1/2 cup- granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp- cinnamon infused honey (optional)


  1. In a small bowl, add agar agar powder and 2 tbsp of water, mix well and keep aside.

  2. In a pan, add milk, fresh cream and granulated sugar. Heat it on medium flame for 10 minutes.

  3. Add agar agar mix and keep stirring it for another 2 minutes.

  4. Add vanilla extract and pour it into small containers. Refrigerate them for 2-4 hours.


  1. In a pan, add the cherries with 1/2 cup water, bring it to boil. (remove the seeds)

  2. Add castor sugar and strain the syrup.

You can garnish your panna cottas with a few cherries or even whipped cream. Have it cold with hot cherry compote!
